The Addtract Consortium is a composer's collective, creative advisory, and education initiative dedicated to growing organic art in a digital age.

We are a group of crazy, idealistic DIY-style artists who believe that the EXPERIENCE of art is just as important as the art itself. We think of the world as a giant playground and we're out there playing in it. Our troop of supporters includes artists from all walks of life - musicians, theater performers, painters, jugglers, video artists, you name it.

We are also a record label and a production company because, well, that's what it takes to do things well on your own terms.

Do we have kind of a living room vibe? Hell yeah we do. Addtract releases are independently produced and proud of it. The big music industry secret is, so are 90% of the records out there. Nobody wants to own up to it, that's all.

We write our own music, produce our own concert and intermedia events, do our own promotion and distribution. We do it as well as and with the same vivacity and dedication as the big guys. But we do it on our own terms, on our own schedule, and with our own interests in mind.

In other words, record industry be damned, we are committed to the relentless pursuit of our own creative capital, and we hope you'll come along for the ride.
